My name is Malak and I am working very hard towards becoming a qualified architect. I can speak 3 languages; Kurdish, Arabic and English. Previously I have worked in UAE to get more experience in the design field, while working there I have worked with variety of people from all backgrounds and this has improved my communication skills and knowledge. I would like to do tutoring on the side of studying my masters in Architecture as I do enjoy mentoring and teaching younger students, I have 6 to 14 years old siblings and most of the times I do support them with their homework, this is the main reason why I would like to be a tutor as I would like to help as many students as possible to get them to meet their targeted grades and goals.

My first session is mainly focused on the student needs, where do they need support in, their goals and ice breaker to make them comfortable to talk and possibly open their cameras and mic.

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
