Hello! I'm a final-year law student with aspirations of becoming an environmental law barrister. My academic passions extend beyond law to humanities, particularly Sociology and English literature, with a special interest in Psychology too! Where I have 3 years tutoring experience with these subjects. They’re all not only intellectually stimulating, but also each has its own unique appeal that compels me deeply.
I am very supportive, accommodating and patient when it comes to my students’ needs, and at the same time will push them to fulfil their full potential by building up their confidence — as in my experience, better grades come with confidence!
About my sessions
I’ll start off with a free meeting with the student and ask them what teaching methods they prefer, and what they struggle with the most — whether it’s content, exam questions or even both.
Additionally, they’ll have the chance to ask me any questions in order for them to feel as comfortable as possible with me. I’ll also look at their exam board curriculum and make sure I tailor my lessons to each individual student’s needs in order for them to get the most out of it!

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
