Chemistry undergraduate at a top UK university with a speciality in mathematics and sciences. I achieved 8 grade 8-9 grades at GCSE and 5 grade 7s. I strive to make a difference to others by opening their eyes to learning and how anyone can achieve their goals. I am studying Chemistry at University and being a student myself, I have mastered exam technique and how to approach exam questions with confidence. I ensure that all my students feel at ease in my lessons and free to ask any questions at all times. I was a GCSE Latin tutor for a year where I taught complex grammar, poems and translations in preparation for their exams. I provided ongoing support to students and ensured they understood content fully. I am confident with Edexcel and AQA exam boards as I have had experience studying as well as teaching those. However, I can cater towards all exam boards for GCSE. I tutor every student differently based on their individual strengths and weaknesses helping them achieve their study goals and desired grades. My lessons are very interactive, focused and target the specific needs of the student. I ensure lots of practice is executed and use exam style/past paper questions as that is the most effective tool when preparing for exams. I will frequently test students to ensure they have mastered a topic and consolidated their learning. Thoroughly teaching a topic until the student understands fully is my priority.
