My name is Ishaaq, I study Mathematics & Computer Science at Queen Mary University. I love programming and tackling hard maths problems.
I had struggled with maths throughout secondary school because maths was taught poorly at my school. Once I started studying myself, I found that I really enjoyed it. I believe many students have a similar experience to myself and need to be shown the adventurous and practical side of maths in order to enjoy it.

Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
