I am a highly motivated, energetic and welcoming graduate from Durham University, with a high 2:1 in History and International Relations with French. I have completed additional maths modules in econometrics and have always had a love for both STEM and the humanities. I studied the IB course at school which consisted of a multitude of subjects (HL History, Economics, Physics and SL Maths, English, French). I have a stellar academic record achieving 7s in all my IB subjects with a total score of 44/45 and A*s/9s at GCSE. Nevertheless, this has all been achieved through hard work and I understand how stressful school and exams can be. In this way I will offer compassionate and confidence building tutoring through many methods to improve retention and knowledge; with a bank of over 100 quizlets and notes for all subjects. Often tutees know more than they think so my main approach is to instil that confidence. I am so excited to tutor and help others to foster a love for learning.
My sessions are structured depending on what the student would like to achieve. Often focusing around practice questions and quizlets for knowledge retention. I have helped numerous students achieve their desired results in A Level, GCSE and IB exams. I think the most important factor is confidence and generating a love for learning as something enjoyable rather than a chore to encourage consolidation of materials outside of the lessons.
