Hi,
I'm studying medicine at university, I applied to medicine because I wanted to have an impact on people and communities, and it was just something that sounded good to me.

Hi,
I'm studying medicine at university, I applied to medicine because I wanted to have an impact on people and communities, and it was just something that sounded good to me.
My experience doing exams and applying to university was pretty good, I felt like I knew what I had to do and didn't struggle a lot. That was thanks to different support I got and one of the reasons I'd like to tutor is to be able to help students where I can so their academic experiences are easier.
My favourite subject in school was maths, I did further maths at A level. I just think it's fun. I have a few pets and sometimes I crochet. I'm also a fan of volunteering, I haven't done a lot yet but the last thing I did was helping with COVID-19 testing at my old sixth form.
I've tutored before in-person for quite a few months, it was for maths and for GCSE students. I've only done a bit of online tutoring for the same subject and I'm new to MyTutor so I don't have much to say about what my lessons are like. I'll try to help you identify what sub-topics you struggle with so we can work on them and practice questions.
We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
