Throughout sixth form and even as I progress through the first parts of my university degree, there is nothing I enjoy more than teaching. Whether it be voluntarily teaching classes in the lower years or helping my peers through some brain-melting problems, I find that even when I might find myself tangled, there is nothing better than that feeling of clarity when something has finally made sense. There is a beauty in teaching as there is in learning. I've really been through it all; the content to learn that feels close to endless, the unsuccessful exams, the pressure when applying to university, deciding your career path and every other not-so-wonderful thing about academia. These experiences have given me a special set of skills, which not only helped me get admitted into my dream university, but also learn the most valuable things about what it takes to be your best academically. Every concept in mathematics requires some fundamentals, so we start by understanding what these basic fundamentals are and how they come about. With that knowledge, nearly every problem becomes solvable. With feedback from the student, we primarily target what specific topics need more focus and allow steady progression of them. The goal is always 100% so we work to get as close to that as possible. I will be giving questions in increasing difficulty (basic level questions, examination level questions and harder level questions) depending on progress, with some challenging questions as self work away from the session. Eventually, even questions that require numerous applications become intuitive and as we approach that goal, every step towards it is progress.
