I am a Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering (with a PhD in the same area). I have more than 10 years of experience teaching in various environments (especially 1-on-1 tutoring). I also have a 99% record of helping students obtain their desired grades, in some cases even obtaining grades beyond their expectations.
The reason you may want to have me tutoring you or your child is because I do more than help students pass exams. As I have been in academia for the most part of my life, I will help my students build the required mindset to succeed in University. High-school/College and Uni are completely different environments, so most students struggle with the transition. Having me as your tutor will make the transition much smoother and you will hit the ground running when you begin your University studies.
Besides my full time Lecturer position, I have been tutoring 1-on-1. The two jobs are synergistic, so I am continuously improving my teaching techniques to the benefit of my students.
Other than my teaching passion, I have been performing magic/illusionism for more than 15 years. I have also been in my former University's table tennis team, and I also love playing piano.

I had students contacting me regarding exam preparation several weeks before an exam, and their marks did improve even in a short amount of time. However, I believe that tuition is much more effective and has a long-term effect when it begins at least one year before the exams take place.
I also assign homework during my sessions. Although I appreciate most students already have homework assigned by their school teachers, the homework I give is specifically targeted towards the weak spots so they get resolved as soon as possible.
