Hello! I’m Isabelle, a recent graduate of International Relations and Development Studies at SOAS. I love literature, and really enjoy reading and researching to learn more about the world! As a Student Ambassador at SOAS and a Student Representative for both of my degrees I am very eager to meet new people and build genuine relationships. I have a lot of experience working with younger students, from tutoring to GCSE Spanish and French during my A Levels, to delivering presentations and workshops to A-level students. I am willing to help you academically as much as possible and answer all your questions.

My tutoring style is pupil-focused: I will work with you to establish not simply where I can help, but where I can help you help yourself, so that your learning and progression can continue long after our lessons. I am a friendly and engaging tutor with 2 years of experience (tutoring KS2 up to A-Level), knowledge of a variety of subjects, and a love for working with young people -- so I look forward to working with you.

My lessons will be tailored to suit your needs. If you want me to teach content, we will consult the textbook or specification together, and work through methods before tackling questions. If you need more exam practice, we will work through past papers together, and see how the methods you have learned can be applied to questions. If general revision is what is required, I can put together questions for you, and quiz you on what you know, and what you need more time on.

Most importantly, my teaching will centre your personal goals: whether you want to pass an exam or get a grade 9 /A*, our lessons together will help you to realise your potential, and tackle problem areas with new approaches.
