Hello, I am an electrical engineering student at Imperial. I love studying engineering as it allows me to see first-hand the impact of subjects I enjoyed at school such as maths and physics. Stem subjects have long been my strongest and favourite subjects however, I found they were not always taught in the most engaging way and I sometimes struggled to grasp concepts in class. It is because of this that I aim to make my lessons engaging and I ensure that my students understand the topics before moving on. I like to make my classes as interactive as possible as I have experienced this to be the best way people learn and I focus on building confidence by doing worked examples with students in class.

I have been tutoring privately for nearly 4 years and I believe I have developed my skills in teaching greatly over this time. I am aware that there is no single teaching style that will work for everyone but I will do my best to adapt to my students’ needs to help them achieve their goals. 

My lessons have a strong focus on practice questions as I believe this is the best way to learn. I make sure to structure my lessons beforehand with a starter section to refresh content followed by a main section that focusses on practicing the areas that the student struggles with most. I know that every student learns differently so I make sure to adapt to my students' requirements so that they get the most out of their lessons with me.
