Hi there, my name is Maya, a recent First class honours graduate from King’s College London.
I grew up in six different countries, fostering my passion for educating young people from all backgrounds. This means I am very comfortable tutoring students with English as a second language.
I studied a unique combination of humanities and bioscience subjects throughout school and University. Hence I have a dynamic, results-driven approach to tutoring subjects logically and creatively.
Furthermore, I am a qualified healthcare assistant who has experience working with differently-abled children and adults, so I am happy to accommodate additional needs.

I use a highly tailored approach to my tutoring as I firmly believe that, when it comes to learning, one size does not fit all.
I plan, structure and deliver my lessons in the best way to help students achieve their goals. I keep an organised record of all lessons so that students and parents can see their progress.

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
