Hi! My name is Elise and I am a Dental student at the University of Dundee with 4 years of tutoring experience and success. I would describe myself as a science-orientated person who is very personable and caring, always wanting the best for those I tutor, prioritising them and their goals - whether achieving a high grade or gaining more confidence. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Scottish education system along with key exam and revision strategies I have developed over the years which are necessary to achieving higher grades and boosting your confidence.

For each lesson I generally like to follow a 3 step plan:

We start by going over any questions you have gathered over the week, which I will help you through and identify any weaker areas which need improvement.

After, I will take you through worked examples which I have selected in advance from an area which you have been finding difficult and would like assistance.

To round off, we will complete a practice question - as these are good to monitor revision and access areas for improvement. This will mostly be pupil lead and I will be there for any assistance needed.

Each lesson will be planned prior to starting, meaning you can get the most out of each session.
