Hi I'm Anisa! I am a fourth year medical student from London studying at the University of Leicester.
Medicine is so much more than learning anatomy; it requires you to showcase many skills on a day to day basis. At school I was always interested in the sciences, however I also highly value the level of interaction and contact with people, from patients to colleagues, which is why I chose to study medicine at university.

I will help my students by providing questions, notes and resources I have found useful, and structure lessons best suited to how they prefer to learn. I will interact with students by actively discussing topics together to establish their current understanding as I have found that speaking through concepts with others is a very helpful revision tool. I will prepare slides with recaps and questions on the previous session contents, as repetition and active recall are also effective revision techniques I still use today. Additionally, I will advise on how to approach questions in an exam by understanding the different command words and requirements to maximise marks.
